A special kind of bond
“You are unique. There is no one like you, never was, never will be.” You must have heard something like this before. Something truly magical happened to me when I realized that it also obviously applies to other people.
The people you walk by on the street are unique. The homeless man you see on the roadside is unique. That annoying driver that cut you off is unique. When I saw this, I couldn’t help but feel a special kind of bond for everyone else alive at this moment in time.
Everyone on this Earth right now, is one unique batch. And in this uniqueness is our commonality.
Analogous to competitions to improve between countries, why can’t there be competition between times? Let me clarify – by competition, I mean that the present people at this time should strive to make the most progress in the history or the future of humanity. Progress is a word that can mean many things. Here, I mean progress as in the charity of the people. This does not include things such as unsustainably using the Earth’s resources which damage future generations.
So let us all try to make the world a better place, in one special collaboration which will never happen ever again in the history of time.
